Some more Supermodel new full-speed network using Scud Race using 3 linked versions of the emulator. The latest build now supports all three games implemented so far (Scud Race, Le Mans 24 and both versions of Daytona USA 2), and cars are oriented correctly in Scud Race. gm_Matthew's also made it so that you don't have to start every instance at once in order to get more than two machines running properly.

I've assigned all cars in this video to the one pad, but I'm just concentrating on controlling one of them. In my last Scud Race video I couldn't seem to get the sound balance right, the music was a bit too quiet and the engines too loud, but I've got on top of it here. Man, I'd really forgotten how to not suck at the Advanced course in Scud Race, particularly the two difficult hairpins at the end...

Now, little disclaimer here: Although the thumbnail says full-speed network my OBS desktop video capture was causing some slowdown, so it's not 100% full speed in the video. I don't think it's super noticeable though, there's no audio lag and it's still moving at a fair pelt.

It's strange I'm getting slow down with Scud Race as I didn't have any slowdown when I was video capturing either of the 2P or 3P Daytona USA 2 (or the 2P Le Mans) games and I believe D2's the more graphically demanding game of the two (in the old days when I used to try running Scud Race and Daytona USA 2 on my old single core Pentium 4, Daytona USA 2 would always run slower (like 15fps vs Scud's 25fps). In the 3P mode without video capture, there was also some slow down.

The link for the latest 3 game supported build can be found here: https://filebin.net/4zb8p452vaxdamfn
Please note, I did not upload it myself and it's possible the contents may change over time. There is also a time limit of a week on it before it expires. At present it just contains the Supermodel EXE and SDL files needed to run Supermodel but not the Config ini and XML files needed. You'll need to download one of the official builds from the Supermodel website to get the correct Config and Nvram folders and then overwrite the contents of the root directory with the new EXE and SDL files from the zip. I made a tutorial on how to get the old Supermodel network working here: https://youtu.be/CXzI4AfqrEQ
Once you've arranged your folders as outlined above, the process to get a network running is exactly the same.
