The dynamic world of SCUM allows you to apply your character's personal traits to survive and thrive in various situations presented by weather, terrain, other players, NPCs, hunger, or simply your need to pee.

The game applies physical traits to your character that affect it realistically in one manner or another - being fat slows you down - being thin rushes your metabolism, being fit makes you perform tasks easier and faster, et cetera.
