One of the old core franchises of SEGA, it's another beat 'em up originating from the arcade scene, this time involving an hyborian age-inspired setting where people in skimpy outfits slap each other with weapons. The evil Death = Adder (not a typo) has stolen the titular Golden Axe, and it's up to three impavid heroes to recover it.
