Lovecraft games appear to be having a resurgence. With games like the popular AAA Bloodborne, to the more modest card game Cultist Simulator, players have shown that they dig the idea of being in a cosmic horror setting. The problem with those games, though, is that as much as they try to be faithful to Lovecraft, you as the player always come out on top to vanquish the evil. Something that, if you know Lovecraft, is something that never happens. That's where Sea Salt comes in, an action strategy game where you take control of a swarm of monsters that descends onto a unassuming city.
