We've demonstrated this game in the past for its save ability via the Famicom Data Recorder and ASCII TurboFile, but haven't really played or reviewed it as a game. But our Patreon Producers really wanted to see this one played, and we're here to deliver!
We're playing the NES version over the Famicom one because -- while we can play either one on the RetroN 5, negating the need to use the save functionality of the time, the NES version is identical except it gives you 50 lives from the jump as opposed to only 3. We'll go over the plot (such as it is), the gameplay, and see how far we can get in about 90 minutes!
