Major League Gaming (MLG) will unveil the all new MLG.tv Columbus Arena with the MLG Call of Duty: Ghosts Pro League Season 3 Playoffs broadcast exclusively on MLG.tv from October 24 at 6pm ET through the championship match on October 26. During the debut tournament, eight of the best Call of Duty teams in the world will compete in front of a live audience for $75,000 in prizes and a first place prize of $30,000. The Season 3 playoffs are the culmination of nearly three months of online play and feature Team EnVyUs, Rise Nation, OpTic Gaming, OpTic Nation, FaZe, Denial eSports, Noble.VQ, and Most Wanted. In addition to the non-stop gameplay and play by play commentary by Puckett, Fwiz, Benson and Maven, MLG.tv viewers will be able to see the state of the art venue for the first time. Moving forward, the MLG.tv Columbus Arena will host events regularly and serve as the backdrop for MLG.tv programming.
Following the playoffs for Call of Duty: Ghosts, MLG will return to Columbus from November 28-30 for the world premiere eSports tournament and broadcast for the soon to be released game – Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare. The debut MLG 25k Open Series Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Tournament will feature 140 of the best Call of Duty teams competing at the Hyatt Regency in Columbus for the title of first Advanced Warfare champions, $25,000 in prizes, 25,000 MLG Pro Points, and the last four spots in the upcoming Season 1 of the MLG Pro League. Competitor passes for the event sold out in under an hour. Fans will be able to watch via MLG.tv on the web, and MLG.tv apps for mobile and Xbox or purchase VIP and general admission passes (VIP and Spectator) to watch in person.
