On January 23, 2017, CAPCOM Co., Ltd., released their newest title in the Resident Evil franchise, Resident Evil 7: Biohazard. Departing from the previous third-person perspective, this first-person horror shooter leverages updated abilities of the new RE Engine. No longer will the terror be at a distance from the player; now you will experience the infected on a much more personal level. The PS4 version of the game is also available as a virtual reality version, using the PlayStation VR headset. Other VR versions of the game will release in 2018 for Windows and the Xbox One.
PC controls are W, A, S, and D for movement, with a few additional controls (with prompts as you get them): F to interact (open a drawer, examine an item, etc.); LMB to attack; RMB to aim (a gun); R to reload (a gun); Spacebar to guard (try to block an attack); and C to toggle crouch/stand.
Although a civilian with few combat skills, Ethan Winters finds himself in the middle of an outbreak when Mia, his missing wife of 3 years, calls him. When she fails to respond to his attempts to contact her again, he heads to a Louisiana bayou to see what's going on. Already an entire Internet-show crew have gone missing after visiting the same house where Ethan goes. Can he escape with his life?
