Anate Studio released their point-and-click horror adventure, Octave, on October 18, 2016. Although little-reviewed, the game has received high scores from places like AdventureGamerPRO (4.3 out of 5 stars), with 87% positive reviews by players on Steam.
As a point-and-click game, controls are generally limited to LMB for interactions (such as lighting candles) or movement (clicking on the ground). Double-clicking makes your character run.
You are a guy in the wrong place at the wrong time. Dragged into a dark forest, you are "saved" by someone . . . or some thing. As you venture deeper into the woods, you find yourself surrounded by evil: scenes of violence, grotesqueness, and mysterious enemies. Salvation may come, but its form seems to be the stuff of nightmares. Will your struggle for life pay off? Let's play Octave and struggle together. #OctaveGame #Octave #playthrough #blind
