Section D (Assertion - Reason)
The following questions consist of two statements. Mark the answer as follows.
(a) If both statements are CORRECT, and Statement
II is the CORRECT explanation of Statement I.
(b) If both statements are CORRECT, and Statement II is NOT the CORRECT explanation of Statement I.
(c) If Statement I is CORRECT, but Statement II is INCORRECT.
(d) If Statement I is INCORRECT, but Statement II is CORRECT.

Statement I: Sum of the radial and angular nodes of all the occupied orbitals in ground state of oxygen atom is 4.
Statement II: The electronic configuration of oxygen atom is \( 1 s^{2} 2 s^{2} 2 p^{4} \). The number of radial and angular nodes for an orbital is \( (n-l-1) \) and \( l \), respectively.
