This video shows the difference in quality between a Model 2 Genesis with a Sony CXA1645 video encoder and modified S-Video output (motherboard revision VA4 on the left), and a Model 2 Genesis with a Samsung KA2195D video encoder and standard composite output (motherboard revision VA1.8 on the right).

The left shows what is considered to be the absolute best revision of the US Model 2 Genesis versus what is basically the worst revision on the right.

This video also shows the difference in audio quality between the two, marked by the musical note underneath each video when the audio from that system is being used.
