Happy to say, that Sega GT Online, is quite playable on CXBX; it runs decently well, and the graphics are good, albeit somewhat buggy; the sound however, is messy. I'm driving an Honda Ballade Sports CR-X, on the Blue Steel Speedway.

But what is a Sega GT?
Sega GT, is a beautiful racing simulator, underrated and underappreciated by many; which is unfortunate, but the bias against anything Sega, was very real.

It's well known, Sega GT 2002 was originally a Dreamcast title; it got ported last minute to the XBox, due to Sega's decision to discontinue their most beloved piece of hardware; that said, it is, at its very core, an impressive upgrade over the original, early 2000 release on Sega's console.
The driving model here, has been smoothed out; vehicles cast realistic shadows; modeling and textures have been perfected; and reflections are no longer made of static environment maps, but some form of tube mapping instead (Similarly to Gran Turismo 3 in 2001).

This new technique for reflections, eliminates the need for a car model, to have second, transparent, fully modeled one, sit on top of it; which means, those extra polygons, once wasted on a wonderful, yet inferior technique, can, instead, be spent on the regular model, improving its mesh ten fold.
