King of the Monsters is about as Japanese a fighting game could be. Select from one of four oversized characters and fight it out against the rest. This is basically Godzilla the game without the trademark characters. The idea is simply to defeat your opponent by pinning them wrestling style to claim victory. It's a great little game and a nice alternative to the Street Fighter style fighters. There's a nice combat system enabling you to collect power-ups if you pull off a throwing move, collect therese power ups and strengthen your character.
