Level 1.

R-Type level 1 played for fun. I messed up the boss a bit but just about got away with it. R-Type is one of the great horizontal shooters in gaming history. It has influenced 100's if not 1000's of games in the years that came after it. There's plenty of power-ups, waves of enemies and interesting boss fights. The Sega Master System version really isn't the best but it does a good job of recreating the excitement of the original, especially as the system is only 8-bit. It's frustrating at times in the later levels but once you remember the positioning of the enemy it's not so bad. Give this one a try, happy gaming!
