Sel Feena (or Selfeena) is an obscure arcade game made by the mysterious "East Technology" group, waaaaaaay back in 1991. As far as I know, while it could have certainly been managed, given how the game plays like a more traditional and simple (though not necessarily bad) arcade game of the 80s, Sel Feena was never ported to a home console or handheld. There are numerous reasons as to why that may not have happened...the most logical reason I can think of immediately is that the game did not do well in arcades, so porting the game would not have been profitable. Whatever the case may have been, today, Gaming Sanctuary is posting up some footage! The game has not been completely forgotten...there is even a nice piece of fan art for the game that can be viewed at:

At any rate, the game puts you in control of the titular character, Selfeena (or Rich Rich for Player 2) and your goal is to collect treasure (seriously...more below) and deal with a wicked fiend while also using treasure boxes to seal demons, that you then toss into the key pads on the floor to turn the sealed/trapped monsters into the treasure they stole from the people. That's the basic premise of the game...East Technology had an arcade sheet/flyer that gave you game tips and the story in English, which was rather kind of them, so let me copy/paste the story word for word:

"At a time when people were being terrorized by monsters...Selfeena, a little [witch, wizard, magic creature], accompanied by Rich Rich, a little dragon, embarked on an adventure to reclaim the treasure sotlen (that was an actual typo; it probably should say "stolen") from the people by the monsters. Their weapon was the power to put the monsters in boxes. How much treasure can Selfeena recover?"

The game has a handful of items; a bomb that can be tossed at enemies to stop them (if you are too close when you throw it, you can get stopped too), a big coin for extra points, a clock which can stop time and enemies (very useful), and a "thunder" icon (think of it as "bomb stock"). You have a basic wave attack that can temporarily stop monsters, which will allow you to walk through them, and you can consume one "thunder icon" to temporarily stop all enemies within a certain radius. You throw boxes a certain distance, but as you can see in the video, there are different "hazards" (holes, enemy attacks, etc.) that can get in your way.

Watching the video, things become pretty evident (and I am running out of text field to type more, I think), but the game was rather simple...still, the visuals and sounds are more than likely to remind people of some of the other "classic" arcade games of the 80s (and perhaps, early 90s) like Bubble Bobble and such...oh, and you have a simple bonus game where you "find the item" and get to keep it if you do (or get "SUKA" or "Miss" and get nothing) --- That said, if you've never heard of this game, there may be something to like here.
