1:21:10 - Outro to Part 18 of the Brief Demonstration of the 500 in 1 Classic Multi-Cart
137. Zippy Race - This game's a decent enough racer (for it's time). In Zippy Race, you have to go through 5 courses (starting with Las Vegas and ending at New York) in increasing order of class (from 250cc to 1250cc). You have to pass cars and get to as close to the top as you can (which getting 1st is impossible in 250cc by pure skill alone). I have gotten 3rd in 250cc (which - let's face it - is also impossible to get in 250cc by pure skill alone - the cars - when you're in 14th place and above - go as fast as you in 250cc - you would need luck to get anywhere above 14th place). Fortunately, I do not make a whole lot of mistakes, so I pass 250cc quite easily.
138. War in Hell - This is a hack of Battle City (in case you could not tell). This hack starts a red Octorok (as 1P) and a blue Octorok (as 2P). It is the same (gameplay wise) as Battle City.
139. Warehouse Boy - This is a clone of Sokoban.
140. 1942 - Well, I knew that this game was coming up on this multi-cart at some point. This is 1942, an alright shooter (despite the fact that it was made by Micronics). I managed to make it up to Stage 7 (where you fight the game's first boss).
141. 3D Block - It's a 3D version of Tetris - that's it. I also happened to be terrible at it (for some reason).
142. Alter Ego - It's another homebrew (which I have to admit - it's good and fun to play). In this game, you swap out with your outline (to get things that are out of your reach). Be careful, though - you only have an X amount of times you can swap out (X being the number in a given level).
143. Break The Brick - It's Arkanoid. However, when I let all of the demos play, I ended up on a glitchy/broken round (which the background - and everything else, aside from Player 1 - Ready and the ball - was entirely black on that round - plus, you could not beat the glitchy/broken round). I reset the multi-cart and when I jumped straight up in the game, it let me start on Round 1. So, if you are going to play this multi-cart, be aware that if you let all the demos play (or maybe even 1 demo play), you will start on the glitchy/broken round.
144. Astro Robo Sasa - Who put a picture of the hack (Astro Robo Toto)? Were the developers of this multi-cart going to include the hacked version, but decided not to at the last minute? Anyway....in Astro Robo Sasa, you have to collect or destroy "E" power-ups and shoot/avoid enemies. It is not a bad game (though I will say that 2P is easier than 1P, for obvious reasons).
Broken/Glitchy Pirate Versions: 6 (the glitchy/broken round in Arkanoid can count)
Bootlegs/Pirate Originals: 4 (Warehouse Boy and 3D Block count)
Homebrews: 6 (Alter Ego counts)
Trainers: 3 (no change from the last part)
Hacks: 11 (War in Hell counts)
Repeats: 1 (no change from the last part)
I already posted Parts 19, 20 & 21 of the 500 in 1 Classic Multi-Cart, so please go watch those parts too!
