Any slowdowns in the video were also experienced during gameplay as a result of the emulator. Recording also compounds this issue. The IGT is quite close to what I can do on an actual console (PS3) with slightly worse weapons.

Mitsunari was chosen to lock myself out of 4 Sekigahara variants. Choosing Ieyasu would do the same + lock out Osaka Summer Blue, but I'm not as good with Ieyasu at clearing out massive numbers of enemies. Kenshin was used for the majority of the run because... well... Other than not getting hit, Kenshin trivializes almost everything.

There are various triggers for the "outbreak" battles. This combination of characters is probably the best for achieving a fast completion time and skipping various final battles. Masamune's just there waiting to rain your party though...

Final note: this can still be at least 4:10 faster. What's needed is better stage selection and a 5-stage run. Every little bit from each stage really adds up.
