Senseless Violence Cannot Be Stopped
6You know what's funny? you people sit here & yell gun control gun control not one more innocent death... Yet countries still wage war against each other..... Insanity is doing the exact... same freaking thing... over and over again expecting... crap to change... That. Is. Crazy. all these freaking pricks, everywhere I looked, doing the exact same fucking thing... over and over and over and over again thinking 'this time is gonna be different' no, no, no please... This time is gonna be different, I'm sorry, but its not.
Thing is this world will never change! Stopping that is like a game of Whack-a-Mole. For each way that a criminal gets a gun and/or weapon, you need a different rule to stop it.
Gang violence cannot be stopped (Or violence in general). It is human nature and human nature cannot be stopped. You can make it illegal. you can punish the offenders by both fine and imprisonment but it will not stop. Illegal activity begets more illegal activity It is human nature and human nature cannot be stopped. The reason it will not stop is that you cannot change people which is what it would take to stop the violence. We as a Society pride ourselves on freewill and individual choice. It is this freewill, at least in part that made us a great nation. Strict Guidelines, Harsher Penalties. Make it a fools gambit to have anything to do with a gang whatsoever as the risk of getting caught would out weigh any value that could be gotten by the gangs themselves. Life is Prison without parole. Hefty Fines. All licenses revoked. Garnishment of wages. National Databases. Enemies of the State. Forfeiture of Rights.
Senseless violence cannot be stopped by passing laws or legislation. The Boston Marathon bombing, Columbine, the Ft. Hood massacre; acts of violence perpetrated on unsuspecting victims. As soon as these tragedies occur, opinions and theories as to the reason for them start flying. Some blame the government for not making strict enough laws concerning gun control. Some blame the NRA (National Rifle Association) for encouraging a gun-frenzy mentality in the country.
However, no matter what laws we pass, they will never be enough to change the condition of the human heart. Gun control will only keep guns out of the hands of law-abiding citizens. Therefore, even if guns were outlawed completely, criminals would still be able to get them. The only people unarmed would be the very people who should be able to defend themselves from those criminals, but would then be unable to do so. Not to mention that, if guns were outlawed, those wishing to commit terrible crimes against others would simple use another method (recall that the recent California killings involved the murder of 3 young men by stabbing).
