Published by NBCUniversal Entertainment Japan in 1998, and developed by Pioneer Productions, it was designed in parallel to the anime and the staff behind it.

Originally only distributed in Japan, it has not been marketed nor published nor translated in any other country even as of now. It has been translated by fans later on, and then, a translated, fully-playable version of the game has appeared on the Internet.
