This map was originally made for Serious Sam Classic: TSE by Maska322 and was ported to Fusion by Byron/Сэс.

It's been a while since I've posted anything, so here's some more Sam content. Persian Town HD is a port of the original mod from classic TSE, which essentially means it's the same experience except for the fact it's running in a more modern build of Serious Engine.

Gameplay wise, it's pretty basic but is still fun and has a few fights which offer up a surprising amount of challenge. One thing I do love is how it plays closer to TFE with ambushes around every corner and some truly nasty enemy placement that will give players a tough time on their first playthrough. I personally feel modern Sam games and modern Sam mods are either horribly unbalanced or are too considerate towards the player, never really striking that balance of bullshit but fair the classics managed to pull off, so I'm glad this map is able to encapsulate that feeling so well.

It's a basic, fun, and short map I'm sure lots of OG Sam players will enjoy. Definitely worth a play!
