In the 8 years or so I've used Angular, I have barely touched SSR (Server Side Rendering). My view has always been that Angular is great for creating highly dynamic Single Page Applications (SPA), but that there are better options out there for SSR and SSG (Static Site Generation).

With the amount of work Angular has been doing on this front, and improved support, this looks like it might be changing.
