19Your child can create twenty-four activity combinations by choosing one of the six Muppets to take with them to any of the four pre-reading learning locations. For example, take Rostia to the farm to learn the Spanish word for "pig" and then take her to the restarurant to learn the Spanish name for "fork".
When children enter a location they are in learning mode or "freeplay". In freeplay, they can click on objects, watch them animate, and learn some early reading facts about them. After a while, the Muppet host in the area will encourage children to click on him or her to start the practice mode, or "gameplay". In gameplay, the host will play a game based on concepts presented in freeplay.
