Do I got a treat for you chummers!

I've actually been meaning to do this for years but I've just never had the motivation to do so. This, is Shadowrun. A game made by FASA Corporation who is also known for the Battletech series (Mechwarrior). So at the age of 10, I was at the videostore and saw this strange game of some dude with a crazy haircut and leather jacket holding something that looked like a synth keyboard and some other monster-looking thingy (an Orc) being zapped by some purple dude and I just went "I want to rent this game."

So I got home, popped it into my snes and it blew my mind. Much like Super Metroid would bring me to tears sometime later, this game were simply put amazing in my eyes. It introduced me to a vast dark impressive world that would scare most people but just have me in awe.

It had Elves, it had Orcs, it even had Dwarves! Computers, firearms, magic.. A huge dragon.. That I can't unthink of wearing a business suit and a tie..
- You name it!

Shadowrun introduced me to Cyberpunk. If it weren't for Shadowrun, I wouldn't had discovered various cyberpunk authors such as William Gibson and Bruce Sterling. Though I do hear that William Gibson actually hate Shadowrun which I think is a shame. Actually he comes off somewhat as a pretentious twat about it, but I digress. Shadowrun has had a huge impact in my life and I just can't wait for Shadowrun Online and Shadowrun Returns. It's gonna be awesome.

This is the Swedish version of Shadowrun for the Super Nintendo, now believe it or not, but some games actually were translated into Swedish. This game is one and Déjà Vu for the Nintendo. I know more got translated as well but none that I can recall. So hey! Pay attention and maybe you can pick up some Swedish while you're at it.
