Kagome and Rei have a few things in common. They both are seen at different points dressed as Miko and as priestesses, both are missing a parent, (Kagome's dad and Rei's mom are not with us) both have hot tempers, both live with their grandfathers, both have lives that are all about previous incarnations, both are close in age, both born in April, (Kagome on April 30th, Rei April 17th) and both end up having a daughter.
