This is the intro of the classic 1999/2000 Sega classic, Shenmue. It is an open-world action-adventure game that follows a Japanese teenager's search for his father's murder! It starts off with the main protagonist, Ryo, running home to see his mother lying on the ground and then witnesses his father battling with a mysterious Chinese man dressed in a green silk suit in the family dojo. Ryo tries to intervene but is swiftly knocked to the ground, injured. Lan Di, the antagonist, threatens to kill Ryo if his father fails to reveal the whereabouts of an item known as the "Dragon Mirror". After Iwao Hazuki, Ryo's father, acquiesces to the demands, he fights with Lan Di until Iwao is dealt a deadly blow. Lan Di promptly leave as Ryo holds his dying father in his arms! If you have not seen this classic action-adventure before, or even if you have and want to play it again, I hope this stirs up some fantastic nostalgia!
