Hey kings. Shinada videos are finally here, and despite my hatred for his gameplay I will do my most to bring the absolute best out of him and no-damage every boss & long battle he has.
💢First thoughts, I don't like a lot of things.
👉He has NO quickstep cancel
👉You can NOT do any more complex combo extensions when he's unarmed, instead you need weapons which don't bring that much to the table but are a nice addition.
👉His wall-bounding potential is almost ZERO.
👉His i-frame power (the tackle) works clean only once on bosses, after that the bosses counter you unless you tackle them into a wall immediately (even then sometimes you get countered). Unlike Kiryu who's Dragon Spirit and Saejima's throws are UNSTOPPABLE.
👉Most of his unarmed heat actions are not fun to look at.
💢Some things I like.
👉His knife moveset is very fun to use, and you can even do an infinite combo showed at 2:52.
👉He is a lot more fun in long battles than boss fights, due to his cool weapon movesets. I do believe if he had quickstep cancel it would've boosted his gameplay by solid 50%.
👉It is rewarding to do a successful unarmed combo with him due to his inconsistency and lack of variations.
