Shining Force 3 Scenario 1 Speedrun (Final Battle)
3This is part of my latest Speedrun attempt of Shining Force 3 Scenario 1. Complete at 21h 54m 55s 33ms, a total reduction of 7h 59m 23s. Due to the length of this game, and my availability time wise, I had to split these up into parts.
I think the important thing to take away from this run is that perhaps I can go without a couple more characters, maybe even not levelling them so high either. I was happy with the Mithril items I think that was produced, can probably pick up a couple more items to also improve things. There is so much to analyse from this run, I would suspect I could get it under 20h next time with a potential (hopefully!) of under 18h at some point. NTSC users would likely be able to reduce this further.
My original run of 29h 54m 19s was compromised of 11 parts, this one is in 5 parts. A future run I would try and aim to do in 3-4 parts max, reducing the number of videos. I would aim to get Chapter 1-3 done in one part, 4-5 could possibly be done in a second part, and then its whether I do that natural break before the end of the game for training levels. If I don't need to aggressively level as hard as I have done, then it opens up the idea of running chapter 6 complete.
