Shining Force: The JOIN Randomizer

After reaching my $100 goal, I decided we'd play some Shining Force for the Sega Genesis. But this isn't any ordinary playthrough of Shining Force we're playing, oh no... we're playing a special romhack of the game called the Shining Force Join Randomizer!
How this works is whenever you start a new game, it takes all the characters who can join your team and scrambles them up into a new predetermined order. So let's say at the beginning of the game, you've just recruited Gong the Monk, but instead the text box will say something like "Anri the Mage joined the Shining Force".
Will I get a pretty good team to start things off? Will I get so many physical fighters and no mages (or vice versa)? Can I be able to get any healers in my party or do I have to rely on spamming recovery items in order to survive? Is this gonna be worth the total $100 that was accumulated this whole time!?
