Hello everyone! In this video I successfully catch a shiny Rattata in the Demo version of LGP and LGE. In the demo version of these games you are unable to save any progress forcing you to restart the demo playthrough every time you close the game. Shiny hunts in this game are extremely obscure, and not much footage exists of people finding shiny Pokémon in this game. All of the Pokémon that can be encountered in the forest have a 1 in 4096 chance of being shiny, and the starter partner Pokémon can also be shiny. As I said earlier, not much footage exists of shiny Pokémon being found in this demo, so I decided that I was going to take matters into my own hands. I was able to boost my odds for a shiny Pokémon by using catch combos, which still exists in the demo. After my catch combo got to around 55 I found the shiny Rattata. I am EXTREMLY happy to now have footage of this on YouTube even if I can't keep the shiny.
