Roguelight is a fantastic rogue adventure game that has you travelling down into the depths using your light arrows as your means of attack and guidance. Featuring a coin system, players in Roguelight can upgrade their arrows and such in a menu after dying. This gives a great replayablility to Roguelight, as it means that players can improve on each run, and get further and further in each subsequent playthrough. Roguelight features great sound effects and music, and the aesthetic suits the environment of the game. Simplistic in it's design choices, Roguelight fits the artistic direction it was designed in. Roguelight also features a boss, and enemy characters that the play must face off against, but the steady difficulty curve is what sets Roguelight apart from other games. Overall, this game is a fantastic and creative take on the rogue genre and is definitely worth downloading!
