Short Hike: 4 My Commentary!!!
1My Commentary didn't get recorded for this episode (OBS and my Voiceover recording software had a fight and OBS lost) So I'll be kind of quiet, but the gameplay is still there, and we make it up to the cold part of the island! Oh, and are the best at Beachstickball!
I had no idea what to expect from this game, and boy am I glad I gave it a try. It is adorable, and fun, with good controls and interesting platforming. There are lots of things to find and people to talk to, and I suspect there are lots of hats to wear!
This is a fun little adventure game with some great, colorful scenes, some lovely interactions, easy controls and rewarding platforming. I really like that we almost immanently got the double jump and then triple jump, and that flying is a thing. It would be sad to be a bird character and not be able to fly.
I'm playing through my huge backlog of games, and thought I'd start out with some of my newest acquisitions, from the Humble Monthly (Now Humble Choice) Trove. It's a pile of 60+ free games that come with a Humble Choice subscription, DRM free, but old. So I'll play them a bit and see what treasures there are to find.
