Should You Play Disc Creatures? | Disc Creatures Review | Monstalgia
Disc Creatures is an indie game released on Steam and developed by one person, SATTO, that aims to recapture a specific era of by-gone games--the monster catching game. With a visual style inspired by Game Boy Pokemon and a more traditional JRPG battle system lifted more from Dragon Quest Monsters, Disc Creatures does what it says on the tin. But does it have the archaic issues those early entries had? In this review, I aim to answer that while expressing how the game's charms won me over. If you want to play a game like Pokemon, Dragon Quest Monsters, or even something that has the personality of Digimon at times, this might be for you.
