Had some time between lessons today to get a few reps for myself. I'm not a fan of how far out into my fingers my left hand matched grip position gets, I'd prefer to keep the stick under my hand like my right does. Didn't do too bad with my zoning. I closed down my second right hand double in the tag ending. The "below the rim" shot at the end was nice.I don't have very many reasons to keep drumming these days as an inactive performer, but simply being better than students/peers is a good reason to try!
