i'm back with a new arcane video and i brought you pain :') this is my proudest edit yet, i spent almost 3 weeks on it matching all parallel scenes together and left the peace of my soul in this video. i meant to edit this song back in 2016, for my special 2k subs video but it never happened. i still cherish this song with all my heart and i'm so happy that i'm finally able to work on a special project with it. i got the inspiration for it right when i saw silco's drowning scenes and then, after the finale, i thought it will be perfect for his story with jinx. i can't even put into words HOW MUCH i enjoyed arcane series and every single character but silco stole my heart, he is a perfect villain, his actions are clear, he is rough and intelligent but most importantly, he has a heart and feelings. i adore how they developed his parent relationship with jinx, their dynamics was so well written. i don't agree that he is the best father, he was manipulative as soon as he thought he might lose his daughter but he did love her. a complex character like him, with a traumatic past, abandonment issues can't be the best father figure but the way he cared for her, trusted her and even saw himself in her..man. i love them, so so much...the final ripped my heart to pieces and i still have actual tears every time i rewatch the last scene. working on this edit had put me through a lot of emotions, i noticed more and more details in the process and it's incredible just how well written it is. ok, this description is somehow very long but i can talk for hours when it's about arcane and silco in specific...i will take a break from editing the show until next year, as i have other projects due in december but it's 100% not my last arcane edit.
i hope you will enjoy the video as much as i enjoyed making it.
p.s. i meant to upload this on the weekend but had technical issues with rendering, big shoutout to adrii for helping me to deal with 4K format, i was dying to make it work. hopefully, the quality of my videos will be better now as youtube killed all my previous uploads. :')
