✏ ️ In this Silent Hill 2 all endings guide / tutorial, I'll go through every item and interaction in chronological order. This way you can get as many endings as possible all lined up and ready in a single save file.
Keep in mind, most of these items won't show up until you're in New Game Plus (NG+) and the Leave (Mary) and Maria endings are the only ones that directly conflict with one another (meaning if you get Maria's ending on one playthrough, you'll have to do another playthrough to get Mary's ending instead).

1:20 ENTERING SILENT HILL
• RITUAL: Book of Crimson Ceremony (found in graveyard at beginning)
• STILLNESS: Use chainsaw on the first green car you see (after going under the bridge) to get the stillness key
• DOG: Part of key found in dog shop by big joe's
• UFO: Get blue gem from jewel store (smash the window)
• UFO: Use blue gem on apartment ROOF
2:06 MEETING MARIA
• UFO: Use blue gem by LAKE (BEFORE meeting Maria)
• MARIA: Follow her, simp for her, don't ignore her. If she gets mad at you for wondering off, DON'T DO THAT. Also DO NOT LOOK AT MARY'S PHOTO
• LEAVE (Mary): Do the opposite of Maria's ending.. ignore her, explore anything you want, stare at Mary's photo regularly
• BLISS: Go down the road to find the bloody note by the historical society. Then visit Bowling Alley and find the safe behind the counter (combo 1887) to find a key used later
• RITUAL: Grab the White Chrism in front of Baldwin manor on the table (maria's scared of this house.. interact with her to get points for her ending)
• DOG: Suburb area has a gate with a dog bone on it. You'll find the second part of the dog key in their yard (combine both key parts)
3:54 HOSPITAL
• BLISS: Hospital Gazebo (outside in the rain) has a box. Use the key found in the bowling alley to open
• LEAVE (mary): DO NOT VISIT MARIA DURING THE HOSPITAL
• MARIA: Visit Maria BEFORE using all 3 patient wrist bands.. then again before heading to the roof
4:18 HISTORICAL SOCIETY
• RITUAL: Obsidian Chalice found BEFORE going down the long stairs.. the building is small, you can't miss it
4:27 LABYRINTH
• LEAVE (mary): proceed as usual and don't visit Maria
• MARIA: Visit Maria AFTER you're about to leave the labyrinth and she's "resting" in bed
4:39 LAKEVIEW HOTEL
• UFO: Use blue gem as soon as you get off boat
• RITUAL: Book of Lost Memories is found in LOST AND FOUND 1F Hotel.. *DO NOT PICK UP UNTIL LATER
5:08 EMPLOYEE ONLY ELEVATOR
• IN WATER: From this point on, keep James at low health, inspect Angela's Knife multiple times and progress through the rest of the game might want to save beforehand
• LEAVE (mary): Keep your personal items at elevator *this might not make any difference
• MARIA: Put EVERYTHING in the locker (including personal items)
*SAVE AN ALTERNATE FILE*
*you'll keep loading your last save file after unlocking each ending
5:39 BEFORE ENTERING ROOM 312
• DOG: Use key to open observatory beside room 312
• UFO: Use blue gem inside room 312
• BLISS: Use potion from hospital BEFORE watching Jame's Tape
6:23 AFTER WATCHING JAMES'S TAPE
• STILLNESS: Use the key (found at the beginning of the game) in the managers office in the HOTEL OTHERWORLD. Safe combo is 314. Inspect the post-card and beat the game
• LEAVE (mary): When entering the long hallway with sickbed converstaion, stop and listen to the entire conversation before leaving
• MARIA: Ignore the sickbed conversation and rush to the final boss
