Silent Hill 2 remake, set for release in 2024, is being developed by Bloober Team using Unreal Engine 5. It aims to bring the original game to modern consoles and PC with improved graphics, updated voice acting, and reworked gameplay mechanics while keeping the core story intact. Expect enhanced visuals with more realistic lighting and details, as well as updated combat and puzzle mechanics. Pyramid Head and other iconic elements will return, and the emotional, psychological themes of the original will remain central. The remake will be available on PS5, PC, and possibly Xbox Series X/S.
