Silhouette Mirage Playthrough (PSX Japan Translated - All 5 paths unlocked for ending surprise)
Silhouette Mirage is a game I have played before, and it didn't really click with me. Revisiting it down the road though I really grew to like this game...so much that I beat it like 8 times in a couple days.
Silhouette Mirage has an interesting attribute system if you are familiar with their more popular title Ikaruga its like that. Enemies will be red, or blue, you have to be the same color to deflect projectiles, the opposite color of enemies to do damage to them. To switch colors you change the direction of your character. You are one color facing right, and another when facing left. It sounds like a real pain in the ass, and it can be at first, but when you master the system, and learn the move sets to manipulate the system what you're left with is a real rewarding time.
7 stages, with 5 possible endings, and tons of boss fights make this short game worth playing multiple times, and when completing all the endings it unlocks a bonus fighting mode where you and a friend can battle it out in a vs style level...that is so damn cool.
Great graphics, and pretty good music. At the end of the day I think Silhouette mirage is a 10/10...The developers at Treasure never really seemed to miss. -- Watch live at https://www.twitch.tv/latenightretro
