The Rocketeer Playthrough (Revisted)
3The Rocketeer reminds me of one of The Simpsons games with its own twist. Something about the jankiness and the graphics that give me that vibe. Does it play like a Simpson's game? Naw though, its its own breed of jank, lot of ducking and shooting behind boxes, and rotten enemy spawns like a Ninja Gaiden, it just doesn't bring that level of action though. You have life, and bullets, and a rocket pack. The Rocket Pack you get to use for a couple levels, but most of the game takes place is confined mazy warehouses with enemies that offer little to no health/bullet drops. Your bullets cap at 99 and all guns share the bullets some guns will deplete more of your bullet stash when you use them, but they are more effective. I spent most the game with the default pistol and the grenades, so the rest really seem like decoration as you never really get the bullet supply needed to have fun with them. The music in the game is alright, though the songs start repeating...all around just not that great of a game.
