Silksong is a great game, but an average Metroidvania
15#hollowknightsilksong is one of the highest-rated games of the year after a 6 year wait and monumental launch. But I'm not here to review the game from start to finish; I'm here to dive into the #Metroidvania aspects!
Despite the first game selling 15 million copies, plenty of people never got around to playing it. So if anyone out there heard about a hot new Metroidvania, they may be inclined to check out #Silksong ... but, based solely on its Metroidvania elements, that may not be the best fit. Let's talk about why.
