In this video Bungus and I test out whether or not using a smaller hook (silver and up) will help us catch more gold and diamond fish than a bigger hook (gold and up). Bungus used the silver and above hook and I used the gold and above hook. Spoiler alert: Bungus had a lot more fun than I did!
We know this isn't a full proof test, its just a small sample size. For this to be truly accurate we would need to repeat this over and over and over. But it does produce some interesting results! Plus this video shows off an insane hotspot for diamond brook trout and cutthroat trout. So if you are beginner looking for help on where to catch big trout then this video is also for you! It can also help you decide on how to catch big trout as well!
