Silverain Plays: Jaguar XJ220 (1992, Amiga 500.)
Designed and published by Core Design for the Amiga in 1992 and Mega-CD in 1993. Jaguar XJ220 was considered one of the best racers for its time with its stylish graphics, great soundtrack and the way it introduced so many options that would be taken for granted today.
Course designer, multiplayer, control options, the requirement to maintain your car between the the 36 different track across different 12 different countries. I certainly enjoyed it as a child but it wasn't all fantastic.
The races were rather unforgiving, the lack of sound effects made it all rather uncanny valley at times, a mediocre ending and it was a big push to advertise the Jaguar XJ220.
Still if that was all that was wrong with it you can't complain.
