SIMPLE 4 LINE BASIC LISTING IN COMMODORE 64 BASIC
With the BBC giving away free programmable arduino style boards to encourage kids it gave me an idea.
For those who remember, back in the 80s as kids we would see Commodore/Atari/Sinclair etc computers just sitting there switched on connected to TVs in big stores like Boots and W H Smiths. We used to type in little scrolling messages on them in our lunch hour as school kids very quickly.
In the spirit of Fred Harris and Ian McNaught Davis (sorry if I spelt it wrong) programming tutorials here is a very short but colourful nit of BASIC for the Commodore 64.
At the time this was all new and pretty impressive that YOU could write simple things to do eye catching displays.........for true authenticity it should really say something like "SPECTRUM IS POO POO" etc :)
So there you have it, if you just bought a C64 off ebay with no tapes/disk/carts or mags it is still possible to do something with it until your copy of Way of the Exploding Fist arrives in the post haha
