These fixer upper challenge rules are heavily inspired by the ones by Amanda Sharp from the Sims 4 challenge group on Facebook. Thanks, Amanda!

The Sim starts with 5k after the lot is purchased. They can have a job or support themselves with hobbies, and you can move in one sim or a family.

Stage 1 – demolition
* The sim has to remove any messes they can
* 1k simoleons per 10 build and buy trash items removed (and you can’t make money from it)

Stage 2 – renovation
* 3k simoleons for an indoor renovation permit and for an outdoor renovation permit (each)
The sim needs:
- Level 5 handiness to change the bones of the house (windows, doors and walls)
- Gardening 3 to make landscape changes
- Painting 3 to change wall changes (painting, removing cracks & graffiti)

Stage 3 - restoration
* Now you can start to replace furniture and fixtures (such as kitchen cabinets). You can only do one room at a time.
