Avalon has fallen to corruption. After the battle of Badon Hill the ship that was conveying Arthur's body to the isle where his wounds would be healed was struck by a great storm. In that storm a great dark presence lurked. It snatched the king away and how he has become some rage filled undead husk.

The lady of the Lake has chosen prince Mordred - the villainous knave who sought to slay his own family to seize the crown, to once again battle against Arthur and save Avalon from corruption. Now that's pretty dark and messed up.

This game is giving me fantasy Xcom vibes although with a more structured plot line running through it. I'm going to dive right in and enjoy everything it has to offer and you are all welcome to join me on this adventure, nay, quest!
