The original May 1, 2013 patch had some incomplete Shield Bash mechanics within. Here's some footage of it for history's sake.

Only the movement worked - the bash did not affect enemies, and did not drain your shield with each use, so it could be chained. However, you needed full shield health to use it. The bash was also non-functional in Lockdown and might stay that way (who knows).

Dodging wasn't implemented at the time.
