Burst Re:Newal is a remake of the first (well one of the first) game in the Senran Kagura (閃乱カグラ) series. In general, produced by Marvelous, the 2019 (JDM:2018) game delivers exactly what fans of the franchise have come to expect. The fast-paced hack-and-slash combat is certainly as good as any example offered by the series.
