Over 25 years later, and they still have not fixed any of the glitches from this game. This video shows a glitch I discovered while playing the game, back when I had the game for my GBA. I tried to submit this clip to GameFAQs & Mr. P's Castlevania page, to no avail.
To perform the glitch, you need the Black Dog & Pluto cards equipped. Then, press A + down. Your character will drop down to the box and will instantly kill them.
It can be done with the Bear Ring equipped. Gameplay was recorded from my PS5.
