Before we can get your K2 gear ready, we need to properly measure your skier or rider. Before we start, you will need a ruler and taper measurer. If you do not have a taper measurer, just the ruler will work.
First, let’s start with the easy stuff, height and weight. Do you have a recent measurement of your skier or rider’s height and weight? Great! We can use that. If you don’t, let’s measure! The easiest way to measure height is to have your skier or rider stand with their back against the wall or door frame. Use a ruler or anything with a straight edge to mark their height on the wall or door frame. Now simply measure the distance between the floor and that mark in inches. We need to know an accurate skiers weight for binding settings. You’ll need access to a scale for this. Digital or analog is fine, but guessing weight for a skier could lead to improper binding settings.
Now it’s time to measure your skier or rider’s foot. The simplest, easiest way to do this is to provide is with the length of your skier or rider’s foot in centimeters. Inches are okay too if you don’t have a metric ruler, but we prefer centimeters as it is more precise. If you have a printer at home, follow the provided link and print out a copy of our size guide. Put it against the wall, have your skier stand on it, and mark the length of their foot. No printer? No worries, just use a blank piece of paper.
Record your skier or rider’s height, weight, and shoe size, and you’re all set! Have this information ready to provide when you’re choosing your gear and checking out. Any questions? Don’t hesitate to call our expert customer service team.
