I saw some folks touching on this variant rule found in the Player's Handbook, so I'd thought I'd make another video on it. Basically the rule states that you don't have to use the standard ability score with an associated skill, if it doesn't make sense. I actually learned about this rule from Adventurer's League as it's one of the few variant rules they allow. How you ever used this at your table? What's your favorite/best/weirdest example of using a skill with a different ability?
