Don't bother skinning in red zones in Albion Online. You'll make more silver per hour in blue zones, and it's much safer.

In red zones, you're more likely to be ganked by other players, and the resources you gather aren't worth that much more than the ones you find in blue zones. In fact, you can make more silver per hour by skinning in blue zones and selling the resources on the market. It takes longer to extract resources at higher tiers, and the silver per hide isn't much higher than the lower tiers, which can be gathered at a much higher rate.

So if you're looking to make money by skinning, don't waste your time in red zones. Stick to blue zones and you'll be much better off.
