Skip Exdeath's Ultimate Form in Final Fantasy V (SNES) - A Wild Glitch Appears! #shorts
3,417In Final Fantasy V for the SNES, there's a fairly simple way to skip the ultimate form of the final boss aka Neo Exdeath, and it involves using the Mix command to combine two items with the Chemist.
Using the Chemist's Mix command (sometimes called the Combine command) you can combine a MaidenKiss and a Holy Water (also called a Revivify in some translations). This combination yields the Kiss of Blessing ability which imbues the target with the Haste, Image, and Berserk statuses.
However if you use the Kiss of Blessing ability to target certain bosses, the Berserk status will override certain event triggers in a few battles in particular. For example if you use the Kiss of Blessing on Exdeath's first form (the crazy gnarly tree thing) during the final battle, he will never reach his ultimate form. In other words, if you use the Kiss of Blessing on Exdeath's first form in the final battle, then defeat his first form, you will skip Neo Exdeath and go straight to the game's ending.
